Wingtro - Wingsurfing Lesson - Level 1
LEARN TO WING! The new watersport that's getting everyone hooked on foiling after just a few sessions.
Learn to Wing Surf and in your further lessons to Wing Foil. Part of the BKSA Learn to Wing Scheme. Maximum ratio of students to instructor will be four students to one instructor for a Group Lesson.
Taught at low tide and therefore flatter water on light to medium wind days at Worthing beach.
The first part of the lesson will be familiarising you with the wing on the beach, what the different parts of the wing are, what size wing to use, how to turn the wing over, how to travel across the wind, upwind and down wind holding the wing. You will also learn what conditions are suitable to go winging and how to check your launch and practice area is safe for winging.
The second part of the lesson will be in the water with the wing and a SUP board with a centre fin, learning how to move forward on the board using the wing, how to change your angle of direction, how to stop and turn around and how to self rescue.
For a one to one Level 1 Wingsurf Lesson it's £150 for 2 hours. For a group lesson with up to 4 students in total, it's £95 per student and there will need to be 2 participants minimum for the lesson to go ahead.
